The Coffee Research and Farm Work internship in Nepal is a program designed to give you the unique and hands-on experience of working in sustainable organic coffee farming in Nepal and coffee production in the Himalayas. Our aim through this program is to provide you with knowledge and experience of organic coffee farming and the production process; from coffee plantation to harvesting and to the final product of coffee in the cup! Working in this program you will have the opportunity to experience the authentic traditional local lifestyle living with a farmer's family, where you will learn many local and traditional ethics and customs.
Apart from the regular coffee farming work, you will gain the knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices, organic farming, food security and value chain development that is crucial for sustainable livelihood development, impacting many families in developing countries around the world. Accommodation and Meals: | You will be staying with local host families & will be provided 3 meals a day according to Nepali menu. |
Working Time: | Flexible; 6 - 8 hours a day / 5 - 6 days in a week, all other time is free. |
Training & Support: | In-country orientation, Pre-departure helpdesk, Local in-country team and 24hr emergency support & services are provided. |
