The Kindergarten & Early Childhood Development volunteering in Nepal program gives you the opportunity to work with kindergarten children groups to enhance your skills of Early Childhood Development. The Program is designed to strengthen your skills and enhance your understanding of various aspects of children's development and learning. Our aim through this program is to give you hands-on classroom experience and the foundation for practical skills that will help you to instruct and care for pre-school and primary school aged children. You will be working together with local kindergarten teachers to share your intercultural experience with kindergarten children and teachers from an Early Childhood Development center.
With the help of local kindergarten staff, you will be teaching children the basic English alphabet, numbers, rhyming, good health hygiene and sanitation habits. In addition, you can introduce the children to many new games and activities to develop their learning skills. Apart from working directly with children, this program gives you the opportunity to live with a local family, enjoy traditional living and lifestyle, and explore nature, adventure, and the culture of Nepal. We hope that this will be a life-changing experience for you!
