Eco Farming & Organic Agriculture Volunteer in Nepal

Indra Foundation

Eco Farming and Organic Agriculture volunteer in Nepal program offers you volunteering opportunities to work in sustainable agriculture and eco farming projects in Nepal. Through this program, we are focusing to raise awareness & promote eco farming and organic agriculture practice into local communities in Nepal. We are working in the field of Eco Farming with an objective of; providing an opportunity for foreign volunteers to study and gain hands-on experience helping farmers & local people into issues such as environmental protection, resource management and sustainable organic agriculture in Nepal and hence to improve quality of rural life of local farmers as well as to reduce poverty.

Organic agriculture is becoming the essential need of time which provides long-term benefits to people and the environment. Organic farming works in harmony with nature rather than against it. This involves using techniques to achieve good crop yields without harming the natural environment or the people who live and work in it. To promote organic agriculture in Nepal, this program works in partnership with small village-based sustainable eco farming projects in Nepal. As an eco farming and organic agriculture volunteer in Nepal, you will be working side by side with local farmers and you will have the opportunities to learn more about organic farming and experience rural Nepali lifestyles!
